How Do I Meet People?

Our church is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at this church.

Youth  & Children Ministry

Each Sunday morning, children and youth get to participate in their own classes. Bible lessons are taught in such a way that every child gets to participate and learn. Each of the class teachers meets our Safe Sanctuary guidelines. The youth and children are active in outreach to the larger community by visiting nursing homes and providing supplies for classrooms at local schools.

Young Adults

Life can get complicated once you cross that nebulous threshold into adulthood. There are complicated decisions. Bigger stakes. Serious relationships. And a whole lot more decisions. The young adult group of our church provides a welcoming atmosphere for college and early-career aged young people.

United Methodist Women’s Group

“The organized unit of the United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.”

 United Methodist Men’s Group

United Methodist Men involves men in a growing relationship to Jesus Christ and his church and provides resources and support for programs of evangelism, stewardship and the needs of men.

Older Adults

Once you get past sixty five, the fun has just begun. Whether retired, just plain tired, or active as ever, the over-65 group of Edisto Fork provides refreshment, ministry, and times of valuable interaction. A mentoring ministry gives older believers a chance to meet with and help younger believers grow in Christ.
